Audi A5/S5/RS5: Also come with a new grille, hood, and front and rear bumpers. No major interior changes, but gets the 3-liter supercharged V-6. RS5 track-ready supercar comes with a 4.2-liter V-8. It is already on sale. A5 starts at $37,850. S5 begins at $50,900. RS5 starts at $68,900.

Audi A6/S6: The A6’s 2-liter four-cylinder turbo model comes with all-wheel-drive and eight-speed automatic transmission. S6 performance model gets 4-liter, 420-horsepower, twin-turbo V-8 and a seven-speed double clutch transmission. A6 on sale already and the S6 is coming soon. The A6 starts at $42,200 and the S6 at $71,900.

Audi A7/S7: A7 can seat up to five passengers. S7 gets the 4-liter, 420-horsepower, twin-turbo V8 with a seven-speed double clutch transmission. A7 is already on sale and starts at $60,100. S7 will be available this fall at $78,800.

A8/S8: This line-up gets two different engine options: the 3-liter, supercharged V-6 and the new 4-liter, twin-turbo V-8. S8 gets an even beefier version of the new 4-liter V-8 at 520 horsepower, and eight-speed automatic transmission. A8 is already on sale and starts at $72,200. S8 goes on sale in the fall starting at $110,000.

Chevrolet Malibu: Besides the regular Malibu that we all know about, there is also an Eco version of this car that was released early this year. The eco version gets about 37 mpg on the highway with has a small electric motor that aids the four-cylinder engine. The regular version has a 2.5-liter, direct-injected four-cylinder engine with 197 horsepower and it gets 34 mpg on the highway. This Fall, a newer version with a 259-horsepower, 2-liter turbocharged will also be available. Starting price is $22,390.

Chevy Traverse: This all time favorite SUV that can seat eight people. The interior gets softer, more premium materials and the outside gets some minor changes. It is expected to hit the showrooms this coming Fall and it will come the first front-center air bag.The 2012 model starts at $30,485 but no word yet on 2013 model’s pricing.

These are the models that will be upgraded in 2013:

BMW 7-Series: This model is actually pretty similar to the outgoing model, the only exterior change you will see are a new grille and new LED headlight. The engine options for both the V-6 and V-8 offer more power and about 25% better fuel efficiency. The top-of-the-line option remains the 6.0-liter V-12, with 544 horsepower. And, the transmission comes with 8 speed transmissions, instead of 6. There is also a hybrid version, using the same technology as BMW’s 3- and 5-Series on the works and it is expected to arrive this coming Fall. Starting price is set at $74,195.

BMW 135is: The 135is comes with a 3.0-liter V-6 with 320 horsepower. You can choose to buy a either a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission. It is also packed with a sport suspension, luxury rims and a new grille. The starting price for this one is $44,145. It will be available to buy this Fall.

BMW X1: Making its entrance in the country after it was released in Europe already four years ago. This version is shorter and narrower than the X3. The base model has a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder with 240 horsepower and an estimated 27 mpg in combined city and highway driving. Buyers get to choose if they want to upgrade to a 3.0-liter V-6 with all-wheel-drive that gets 300 horsepower and 25 mpg. It will also be available this Fall and the price starts at $31,545.

If you are a Toyota owner, a big fan or simply would like to buy a new Toyota this Fall, here is the latest scoop on its 2013 models.

Toyota Avalon: Toyota’s full-size sedan is finally getting a hybrid version that will achieve 40 mpg in the city and highway. Its look is definitely sharper and more angular. It comes with some new smart features, including a bin in the dash that stores two mobile devices and touch-sensitive climate and entertainment controls. The avalon will go on sale this Fall. So far no details on the engine line-up or the price.

Toyota Land Cruiser: This one arrived in dealerships since this past winter. Its price starts at $77,955 and it includes a $6,000 upgrade package that used to be optional. The package includes: a rain-sensing wipers, a rear backup camera, voice-activated navigation and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system. There are no changes made to the engine, it will remain a 381 horsepower, 5.7-liter V8 engine, that does around 18 mpg on the highway.

Toyota Rav4 EV: This new model will be the first all electric 5 seat SUV out there. It is expected to drive about 100 miles on one single charge. The drive system and the battery come from Tesla Motors, a known maker of high-end electric cars. The price starts $49,800, which doubles the price of the gas version. However, the EV version will be eligible for $7,500 federal tax credit. As usual, these models will be only sold to certain markets and offered in only a few states. They will first be sold in California.
